The Friends of the Antiquities Museum of Turin support, promote, and endorse the Antiquities Museum of Turin, helping studies and scientific researches; documentation of discoveries, and construct didactic activities in order to give prominence to the museum and to the events organised by its staff.

The association was founded in 1988 by G. Psacaropulo (first chairman), F. Argan, A. Boschini, P.E. Ferreri, P.L. Foglia, E. Psacaropulo, P. Sandretto, and M.L. Tibone.

The Association of Friends of the Antiquities Museum is recorded in the Regional Register of the Volunteers’ Organizations of Piedmont and also with the FIDAM—Federazione Italiana degli Amici dei Musei, Firenze (Italian Federation of the Museums’ Friends, Florence).
